| Wow it has been months since I've written in here! I'm really bad at updating this thing....lol I have too many other accounts.... Anyways, last day of school was yesterday =D Can't believe it....Now gotta cram for exams, ugh....Went to Arts County Fair at UBC yesterday...me and Julie went, it was our first time going....it was alright...everyone was so hammered, it was funny! OMG only 19 more days til I leave for Chile!! I am sooo excited!!! I can't believe it's so soon, I'm starting to get nervous haha. | | |
| So only have 2 more finals to go...of course they have to be on the 2 very last days of exams! UGH lol I just want to be on vacation already!! Had fun last weekend though! Anna came to stay with me for the weekend from Victoria...Friday night we didn't do much..but Saturday we went to Plush for Emma's 19th' bday!  
Then Sunday I took the ferry back to the island with Anna...only stayed there for 2 nights though so didn't do mcuh...bought a Christmas tree and decorated it with my grandma =) hehe so that was kinda fun....also practiced my driving a bit...I'm getting nervous because my road test is a month away! lol I BETTER pass!! Ahh I'm getting addicted to Facebook now! haha who else here has it?? Hmm what else...I had my first real shift at the UBC Bookstore today....went by fast and it was pretty easy! I can't wait to go back to the island for 2 weeks!! I wanna see everyone again and party with old high school friends haha | | |
| Ughhh it's that time of year again...FINALS =( Had one yesterday, one today, and another tomorrow! My brain is freaking tired!! It's like crammed full of information and I don't think I can cram anymore in! lol I've been having such bad headaches from all this studying...last night I slept at 1:00 and got up at 5:30 today for my Bio exam...ugh of course it had to be the earliest exam...I was so stressed out about that exam, because the test is just 8 long answer/essay questions, and you have to answer 4 of them...so that means I really needed to know everything in depth...so I was so stressed out because it was so much information that I left to learn at the last minute and I could not memorize all of it in depth! But I was so relieved today when I took the exam and there were 4 questions I knew how to answer haha...but I don't think I answered them in depth enough....ahh and this prof marks SO hard!! I'm worried =( but I am SO happy it's over with now.... Spanish final tomorrow at 8:30...but not too worried about it since I'm doing pretty well in that course and it's kinda fun to study for anyways haha...well not really fun, but it's easier... Then it's PARTY TIME! haha taking a break from studying this weekend and partying! Anna is coming to visit from Vic on Friday and staying with me for the weekend so I'm excited =) Girls nights out!! haha, I dunno what we are doing on Friday yet...but Saturday night we are celebrating Emma's b-day at Plush so that shall be fun =D Anyways, I should probably do some more homework... | | |
| Yay so yesterday I had my interview at the UBC Bookstore....and I got hired! =D Soo I'm happy about that since it pays really well and I won't have to work that many hours, which is exactly what I want. Ahhh it has been SO cold, I don't think I have ever been in weather this cold before. I love the snow, but not when it comes at such a bad time of the year....it's the last week of school and I think we all really need to be at school this week and next! I have 3 exams next week sooo yea....Can't wait til school is all over! I'm glad the ban on tap water has finally been lifted though, about time! What else...oh I was officially accepted into the Chile Summer Abroad Program! I'm sooo excited to go!! Last weekend went clubbing on Friday at Plush with Julie, JT, and Tony...was a lot of fun =) Then Saturday went for all you can eat with Andrew and then dinner downtown at Milestone's with Emma, Danny, and Andrew.... | Oops...I always forget to update this thing lol...k well it's been like over 2 months since I last updated so maybe now is a good time to do it... Let's see.... School is really busy this year...5 courses...so I quit my job 2 weeks ago because I just couldn't deal with it anymore...too much stress and not enough time to do my homework! I really need to concentrate in school if I'm expecting to get into Grad School....I know it's still a few years away..but it will come up quickly! And I gotta apply in like a year and a half....ahhh Last month I finally turned 19! Yayyy =D hahah, had a great birthday...my family all came over on my b-day and we all rented a huge suite at the River Rock Casino Resort....Had dinner at Sui Sha Ya then gambled all night... The next weekend I had my b-day party with all my friends at ATL...I had so much fun, thanks to everyone that showed up =) And it seems like every weekend since then I've been going out haha...Last weekend I went to the island for the first time since the summer...had a lot of fun =) Saw a lot of old friends and aquaintances from high school that I hadn't seen in a long time...Went to the pub in good ol' Cobble Hill and ran into so many people and had some drinks with some old friends, it was awesome =) Then the next day I went clubbing in Vic with Anna, which was a lot of fun! The night started out kinda weird with going to the male strippers hahah omg now that was an interesting experience....and I don't think I'll be going back there.....But then we went to Red Jacket and that was a lot of fun =) So hmm what else is new....I'm going on an exchange to Chile this coming May! I'm SOOO excited! It's 5 weeks long and I get to stay with a Chilean homestay family and study Spanish at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile...and it counts for 6 UBC credits which is awesome....since I was going to go to summer school anyways, it's going to be a lot more fun studying in another country!! Ahhh I can't wait!!! | | |
